Jelle sets OpenCharities' direction and owns its product and financial architecture. Nine years in blockchain and six-plus in banking put him exactly at the intersection the fund lives on. Today he is Stablecoin Lead at Rabobank — the #2 bank in the Netherlands and the world's largest agricultural bank.
Thijs runs growth, brand and product marketing. Eight years across growth hacking, SEO, UX and product — including a stretch raising over $40M for crypto projects — plus four years as Innovation Manager at the largest NGO in the Netherlands.
Product, go-to-market and network — people who have built and scaled before.
Cindy is OpenCharities' technical advisor and will step in as CTO. Twenty-plus years in full-stack development and a decade leading engineering teams, spanning nine years in banking and five in blockchain. She is currently Solutions Architect for Digital Assets at Rabobank.
Tommie advises on product and go-to-market. He is Head of Incubation at Coinmerce, ran the Blockchain Experience Lab at PwC, and led Deloitte's Web3 team back in 2016 — twenty years building digital products.
Robbert Paul opens doors. He brings a 500M+ network across Benelux family offices, hosts tech events across the region, and is a seasoned deal-maker connected to VCs throughout Europe.
Independent oversight of how grant funds are managed, reported and released.
Carola brings two decades in care and healthcare — strategy, turnarounds and interim leadership. Since 2020 she has run her own management-advisory practice across elderly care, mental healthcare and SME, and through 2025 she directed the national knowledge centre for young-onset dementia. Today she advises care organisations on renewal at Vandezorg and serves on the board of Stichting Breinspoken.
Jasper safeguards how grant funds are managed and reported. A Managing Consultant at Capgemini specialising in financial-services process and delivery, with five-plus years at Delta Capita leading finance and data projects for Tier-1 European banks — the exact discipline OpenCharities applies to grant funds.
