The reporting gap

You fund the giving. Showing what it did is left to you.

Most corporate giving comes back as a single annual figure and a scramble to turn it into something presentable. The money left, but the story is stuck in spreadsheets. Leadership wants more than a number.

One annual total

A single figure lands in your inbox. Turning it into something people care about is your job.

Rebuilt by hand every quarter

Figures get reformatted into slides and dashboards by hand: copied between tools, restyled, out of date the moment they're pasted.

A program you pay for but can't point to

When leadership asks where the money went, you have a spreadsheet. Nobody can follow a line from your company to project spend.

From commitment to a report you can send

You commit through OpenCharities. We match that commitment to vetted projects, trace the money, and the cockpit builds the report around it.

1
1

You commit an amount and a theme

Set the budget and the mandate: what you want to fund, and where. The commitment is a gift to the OpenCharities Foundation with an allocation wish. OpenCharities takes no cut of the gift and charges an annual platform fee instead.

2
2

OpenCharities routes it

Your mandate is matched to vetted NGO projects on OpenCharities rails. The routing view shows the split across those projects, with allocation bars and a link into each project's own page.

3
3

Every euro is traced

Follow the money through the donation chain: Company → OpenCharities Foundation → stablecoin balance → partner organisation → project spend, recorded on tamper-evident records.

4
4

The report generates itself

Donation KPIs, People reached (est.) and Allocation by sector come out of your commitment, scoped to its period and its projects. People reached is estimated, reported by the organisations, never a figure we vouch for. Export the company-branded "Beyond Numbers" Story Report as a PDF or slides and share a link with leadership.

For CSR & Sustainability

The transparency layer under your reporting

Every euro traceable from your company to project spend, and a Story Report you can feed straight into your own internal reporting.

Money flow you can stand behind

The donation chain traces each euro from your company through the OpenCharities Foundation to project spend, on tamper-evident records.

Donation KPIs, export-ready

Total deployed, Allocation by sector and geography views, with copyable figures and CSV export for decks and internal comms.

A shareable link for leadership

Send the cockpit or the Story Report upward as a link. The numbers and the narrative sit in one place, ready to review.

For People & Engagement

Show your people what the commitment funded

See which projects your giving reached, in language your team recognises.

People reached (est.)

A headline estimate of how many people the supported initiatives reached. Estimated, reported by the organisations, never a number we vouch for.

Stories your team will read

The Story Report arrives company-branded, with photo and story updates from the projects. Drop it into a newsletter or an all-hands without rewriting it.

The initiatives your people chose

Projects your team backed carry an "employees chose this" marker in the Initiatives grid, so participation stays visible next to the money.

Inside the cockpit

Everything that makes the giving legible

The parts of the live cockpit you'll actually use when it's time to report.

See where your commitment went

The routing view fans your commitment across the vetted projects it reached. From there the donation chain follows the money: Company → OpenCharities Foundation → stablecoin balance → partner organisation → project spend, on tamper-evident records.

The "Beyond Numbers" Story Report

A company-branded editorial report you can export as a PDF or "Download as slides", and share with leadership. It feeds your own internal reporting.

Figures ready for your deck

Copyable figures export as clean images and the data as CSV. Drop them straight into decks and internal comms.

People reached (est.) and Allocation by sector

The People reached (est.) headline sits alongside Allocation by sector and the geography view. That figure is estimated, reported by the organisations, never one we vouch for. Deployed over time sits underneath as context.

Project goal, kept distinct

Initiative progress bars keep the project's own funding goal separate from your company's contribution: €X of €Y allocated, without conflating the two.

FAQ

Questions from CSR and HR teams

Everything you need to evaluate the cockpit.

It's where your company gives through OpenCharities and tracks what happened next. You commit an amount and a thematic mandate, we route that commitment across vetted NGO projects, and the cockpit generates the report: funds deployed, initiatives supported, Donation KPIs and a Story Report you can send upward.
