A 5% fee, from charities that use our technology
Every other charity that runs its own fundraising on OpenCharities technology pays 5% on what it raises through it — only on the donations we help bring in, never on the money it already raises through its own channels. Stichting OpenCharities Foundation pays 0%. This fee never touches your gift: we would rather be paid by the organisation we work for than take a cut on the way past the donor.
Corporate giving products
Organisations with budget pay for employee-directed giving, transparency reporting, and impact dashboards. This is how we plan to make money at scale, once the platform is built.
Grants, subsidy and seed
Our own start-up costs are funded by grants, subsidy and seed investment, not donor money. So from day one, your gift is never used to pay for our infrastructure.

The local changemakers the Foundation funds, and the donors who support them, never pay a cent. The cost sits with the organisations that chose the tooling, never taken as a fee on the way past a gift.
