About this initiative
't Bakkershuis is a meeting place in Montfoort where older residents bake, cook and eat together. This initiative renovated the kitchen, set up weekly baking mornings, and grew them into neighbourhood lunches that bring people who live alone back around a shared table.

SWOM is a registered charity for welfare work in Montfoort. It supports older residents with activities, practical help and meeting places such as ’t Bakkershuis, largely carried by local volunteers.
